Orthopaedics

The Rennbahnklinik's orthopaedic surgeons are specialists in the field of reconstructive surgery following injuries to ligaments, muscles and tendons throughout the musculoskeletal system. For joint surgery, we primarily use arthroscopic or endoscopic techniques (minimally invasive surgery), but also utilise open techniques. The Rennbahnklinik has gained international renown for its Achilles tendon treatment methods, thanks to its specially developed treatment concepts and operating techniques.

The specialists at the Rennbahnklinik view joints, tendons and ligaments as part of the overall structure of the human body and its functions, rather than in isolation. This approach significantly enhances the interdisciplinary co-operation of our team throughout the healing process.

There is a particularly strong interest in our treatment processes for instabilities, overuse injuries and general injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hand, groin, knee, lower leg, ankle, foot and – in particular – the Achilles tendon.

Furthermore, we provide second opinions for injuries on the entire musculoskeletal system.
